This daily correspondence between schools she attended and us gives you a glimpse of our daily life. Most parents of typical children do not communicate on daily basis with the teachers. This gives a reader an insight to how important daily communication is for a child with autism.

Kat has attended school since she was 3 years old. These are school notes that were result of correspondence with her parents and her teachers. We have made comments at a later date reflecting back on the impact of these events. Kats School Notes Index

E.,

Good luck, I hope transition to new classroom goes well. could you send a new schedule and time of recess and lunch. We will wait for recess and lunch until next week. I put older worksheets in so that to make it a little easier. If she makes mistakes just circle it that will let us know what she did wrong. Thanks Danuta

P.S.: Tried to improve on the surprise bag. PS. Let me know what kinds of supplies she could use. Example: pencil box, crayons, scissors, glue, tissues.

P.S. Kat just came to me and said " I feel happy" I asked her why do you feel happy she responded "Because I am school."
