7/5 Danuta - D. modeled some drills we were confused about & everything OK (could we use a different book than Sesame Street for emotions ( real people photos?)

7/5 You can use any books, real pictures might be better . It's hard to find books that have varied emotions only ask. the emotions listed .

7/13 Hi K.,

I read the note . I have to stick with St. on this one , that all teaching needs to be in front of or next to Kat not behind her. For her grip I usually push her hand down once with my finger so that she lowers it to touch the paper . If you look at writing above in the drill I did with her she did much better. When I come over tomorrow we can look at what we do differently. Thanks

See you ( 9 -11 ok?) tomorrow . For writing - I didn't mean you have to actually get behind her but if you model the letter from behind or/next to she ses how to form it in the correct direction instead of having to reverse the sequences if you write in front of her . That's a pretty common handwriting strategy.

July 14 Hi K., When we sit across from here we are writing upside down but in direction she is supposed to do it . It's hard to know what you mean . Let's talk about it when I get here today .

PS . Our airconditioning died. It's 90's & super humid , we stopped working at home until it's either cooler or air conditioning is replaced which should be sometime next week . As it is now Kat will not be at school monday - Wed next week we will try to get away from the house until the AC is back in order

I asked Est. about space/used desk/ chair & she said we don't have any but Evesham does ( our school may be buying some from them ) . She said to call them about it .
